PILATES FOR DANCERS is intended to be used for all dancers and non-dancers that wish to have a short thorough warm up before class, exercise or simply to start off the day with a body that’s “ready to go”. Attention to the intrinsic musculature that holds the skeleton correctly aligned is emphasized throughout the DVD. I talk you through all the exercises in the first version seen on the DVD. Once you are comfortable with the series you can forward to the second version that bypasses the breakdown of each exercise and allows you to go through the exercises without stopping. Keep in mind that these exercises have been developed to help you achieve strength and flexibility and well warmed up muscles. Take care when first becoming acquainted with the various exercises. Keep breathing and remember to have some fun!
